Area Lighting

AVAILABILITY:

This rate is available to customers requesting outdoor area lighting service for apartment projects, subdivisions, mobile home parks, parking lots, parks and grounds around buildings to be served from HWL electric supply lines with adequate capacity with suitable voltage available, and where all of the Customer's electricity requirements are purchased from HWL .

TYPE OF SERVICE:

HWL will furnish, install, own, operate, and maintain a complete area lighting system of design and installation approved by HWL. The lights will be controlled to burn from dusk to dawn.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE:
The Customer will be held responsible for fixtures while on Customer's property and will be required to reimburse HWL for all maintenance not attributable to normal wear and usage. The Customer must allow HWL free access to the Customer's property to maintain and inspect fixtures at all times.

NET MONTHLY RATE

FACILITIES CHARGE:

The Monthly Rate Per Lamp includes the installation of a single fixture on an existing pole owned by HWL.  If the installation of additional facilities is required, a monthly Facilities Charge in the amount of 1.75% of the cost of the additional facilities will be charged in addition to the Monthly Rate Per Lamp.

TERMS OF PAYMENT:

Customers who pay within 10 days of the date of the bill will pay the CURRENT BILL computed on the Net Monthly Rate.  Bills paid after 10 days from the date of the bill will include a late payment charge of ten percent (10%) of the first $30 plus two percent (2%) of the amount over $30.
